Audio engineer, musician, educator, and sound designer.
As a kid I made elaborate radio shows on a little desktop cassette recorder. I did the voices, I played the music, I made all the sounds. I’m essentially still that kid, but now I work in large scale commercial facilities and bring years of education and experience. My passion is in recording, fixing, or purposefully breaking sound into creative and professional production.
I’m also a multi-instrumentalist that has been writing, performing, and recording for over 25 years. From the smallest basements to giant festival stages. From closets to world class studios. I write and play in the bands Restorations and Omit All. I have also played guitar, drums, pianos, organs, synths, etc on many releases by other artists.
I am a staff engineer at Retro City Studios in the Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia where I produce, track, mix, and master for a wide and diverse clientele. I am the Studio Production and Music Technology Specialist for the Community College of Philadelphia and the studio manager for it’s record label, Spring Garden Records. I also teach audio recording and production at Camden County College. While Philly is my home base, I have worked with artists and clients all over the US, Canada, and Australia.
